On this page, you can define and manage the sampling workflow stages specific to your company’s processes. Customize these stages to align with your workflow requirements. Whether adding new stages, editing existing ones, reordering them for better organization, or designating a default stage, this page provides everything you need to organize your sampling workflow efficiently.
Overview of the Sampling Stages Page
The Sampling Stages page allows users to:
Add new sampling stages.
Edit existing sampling stages.
Reorder stages for workflow prioritization.
Delete unnecessary stages.
Set a default sampling stage.
Key Components of the Interface
Stage Table: Displays a list of sampling stages, with the following columns:
Stage Name: The name of the sampling stage.
Default: Indicates whether the stage is the default stage.
Setting: Options to edit, save, or delete a stage.
Add Sampling Stage Button: Adds a new sampling stage to your workflow.
Reordering Stages: Allows you to reorder stages by dragging rows.
Action Buttons:
Edit: Modify an existing stage.
Save: Save a new or edited stage.
Delete: Remove a stage after confirmation.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Adding a New Sampling Stage
Click the Add Sampling Stage button in the top-right corner.
Enter the Stage Name for the new sampling stage in the input field.
If this stage should be the default, select the checkbox under the Default column.
Click Save to add the new stage.
2. Editing an Existing Stage
Locate the stage you want to edit in the Stage Table.
Click the Edit (Pencil Icon) button under the Setting column.
Modify the Stage Name or toggle the Default checkbox as needed.
Click the Save (Check Icon) button to confirm changes.
3. Reordering Stages
Hover over the Reorder Icon (three horizontal lines) at the beginning of a row.
Drag the row to the desired position in the table.
The system automatically updates the stage order.
4. Deleting a Sampling Stage
Click the Delete (Trash Icon) button under the Setting column of the stage you want to remove.
Confirm the deletion in the popup window by clicking Accept.
Note: Deleting a stage is permanent and cannot be undone.
5. Setting a Default Stage
Locate the stage you want to set as the default.
Click the checkbox under the Default column.
The previously selected default will automatically update.
